This variant cover for the first issue features cover art by local Singaporean comic book artist, Kang Jing, with a foreword written by local author Api Ngo. The cover design reflects Singaporean culture while staying true to the spirit of Shadow Ghost and features the iconic Merlion alongside Shadow Ghost inside a classic Yin-Yang symbol.

A special metallic-foil enhanced version of this cover will be available exclusively at Singapore Comic Con, though an un-enhanced version of the cover may appear in future editions of the series.
